Split Rock Pleiospilos is a fascinating, compact succulent known for its rounded, stone-like leaves that naturally resemble rocks. Its distinctive split leaves feature attractive mottled markings and may produce daisy-like yellow or orange flowers under the right conditions. Slow-growing and drought-tolerant, it is an excellent choice for succulent collections, sunny windowsills, and decorative containers.

Split Rock Pleiospilos, 2" Pot
Light Requirements
Prefers bright light with several hours of indirect to direct sunlight daily. A sunny windowsill is ideal for maintaining compact growth and healthy, attractive leaf markings. Protect from intense afternoon sun if the plant shows signs of scorching.
Water Requirements
Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water sparingly, as Split Rock Pleiospilos is highly drought-tolerant and can be sensitive to overwatering. Use a very well-draining cactus or succulent soil mix to prevent root rot. Avoid watering when the plant is naturally resting or when new leaves are developing.
Toxicity
Generally considered non-toxic to pets and humans. However, ingestion of plant material may cause mild stomach upset. Keep out of reach of pets and small children.
