Light Requirements
Prefers low to bright, indirect light and adapts well to lower-light conditions. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as strong rays can scorch or fade the leaves. A shaded or filtered-light location is ideal.
Water Requirements
Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly, then let excess moisture drain away. Avoid overwatering or allowing the plant to sit in soggy soil, as this can lead to root rot. Reduce watering during the winter months when growth slows.
Toxicity
Generally considered non-toxic to pets and humans. However, ingestion of plant material may cause mild stomach upset. Keep out of reach of pets and small children.
