A deciduous tree that is small but graceful. Among the hardiest of all maples. The leaves are lobed and spread out throughout the leaves are sprays of small, fragrant yellow colored blooms on the branches. In Fall the leaves become a brilliant scarlet-red. A great accent tree for small home landscapes.
Prefers soil that is acidic and well-drained, but is adaptable to a wide range. Drought tolerant once established. Relatively low maintenance. Prune while in full-leaf only.
