Very hardy. Narrow, pyramidal form with ascending branches, very large, heart-shaped dark green foliage and white bark on young stems. Small, yellow-white fragrant blooms in spring. Excellent shade tree choice for smaller sites. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil.
