Levisticum (Lovage) is a hardy, perennial herb prized for its bold, celery-like flavor and aromatic foliage. Its tall, hollow stems and glossy, deep green leaves resemble oversized parsley, adding both culinary value and visual interest to herb gardens. Lovage produces clusters of small yellow flowers in summer, which attract pollinators and add a light, airy texture to the plant’s upright growth habit. Well-suited for Manitoba’s climate, it thrives outdoors during the growing season and returns year after year with proper care.
