Peperomia are native to tropical and subtropical regions of the world, particularly Central America. Most peperomia are grown for their ornamental foliage, as their blooms are usually unimpressive. There is considerable variation in the appearance of Peperomia plants, and this is one of the really interesting things about them. These plants typically prefer medium bright indirect light, but can tolerate lower light settings. Allow soil to dry out slightly between waterings to ensure your plant is not sitting in moist, soggy soil.
