Cubano Fuente Cuphea is a vibrant, heat-tolerant annual known for its abundant, tubular orange-red flowers that bloom continuously from late spring through fall. Its dense, mounded habit and glossy green foliage make it an excellent choice for garden beds, borders, and containers, where it provides nonstop colour and attracts hummingbirds and other pollinators. Well-suited to hot weather, it maintains strong performance even during the peak of summer. In Manitoba, it is grown as a warm-season annual, thriving in full sun but sensitive to frost.
