A compact and colourful shrub, Velveteeny Smokebush features rich burgundy-purple foliage that holds its colour throughout the growing season. In summer, airy, smoke-like flower plumes rise above the foliage, creating a soft, dramatic effect in the landscape. Its naturally dense, rounded habit makes it ideal for foundation plantings, mixed borders, and accent gardens. Hardy and low-maintenance, Velveteeny adds bold colour and texture to Manitoba landscapes from spring through fall.
