Exotic and fascinating, the Vanilla planifolia—commonly known as the Vanilla Orchid—is the plant behind the beloved vanilla bean. This rare and rewarding vining orchid features glossy green leaves and long, trailing stems that can be trained to climb. Under the right conditions, it produces beautiful pale greenish-yellow blooms and, eventually, vanilla pods. A must-have for orchid lovers and plant collectors alike.
