The Detroit 2 Beetroot produces round bright red beets, with dark red stems trailing up to their green leaves. When grown outside they are typically planted between the months of April and July. You can expect harvesting to be ready at the beginning of the summer, to the end of autumn. Stores well & ideal for canning.
