Light Requirements
Prefers bright, indirect light to several hours of direct sunlight each day. Adequate light helps maintain compact growth and healthy foliage. Protect from intense afternoon sun in very hot conditions.
Water Requirements
Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly when dry, ensuring excess moisture drains away freely. Reduce watering during cooler months and avoid overwatering, as the plant is highly susceptible to root rot.
Toxicity
Generally considered non-toxic to pets and humans. While ingestion is not recommended, Burro’s Tail is regarded as safe for homes with cats, dogs, and children.
