Jupiter Coleus is a bold, foliage-focused annual admired for its large, richly colored leaves in deep burgundy and red tones, often accented with contrasting green edges. Its vigorous, upright to mounded habit makes it an excellent choice for adding height, depth, and dramatic color to garden beds, borders, and containers. Providing continuous visual interest from late spring through fall, it pairs well with both bright and neutral plantings. In Manitoba, it is grown as a warm-season annual, thriving in warm conditions but sensitive to frost.

Jupiter Coleus, 5.5" Pot
Light Requirements
Prefers partial sun to shade. Can tolerate more sun in cooler climates if kept evenly watered, though some protection from intense afternoon sun helps maintain its rich coloration.
Water Requirements
Prefers consistently moist, well-drained soil. Avoid letting the soil dry out completely, as coleus can wilt quickly under dry conditions.
Toxicity
May be mildly toxic if ingested by pets, potentially causing gastrointestinal discomfort, so it’s best kept out of reach of curious animals.
