Indian Mint Satureja is a fragrant, heat-loving herbaceous annual (sometimes grown as a tender perennial in warm climates) valued for its aromatic, small green leaves and delicate white to pale pink flowers. Its upright, bushy growth habit makes it a useful addition to herb gardens, containers, and mixed edible or ornamental plantings, where it adds both texture and a fresh, minty-spicy fragrance. Blooming through the summer months, it also attracts pollinators while offering culinary and ornamental interest. In Manitoba, it is grown as a warm-season annual, thriving in full sun but sensitive to frost.
