The Fiddle Leaf Fig is a very popular indoor ficus that bears large, heavily veined and glossy fiddle-shaped leaves. These plants can be easy going, so long as you can get their growing conditions right. Fiddle Leaf Figs require bright, filtered light to grow. Direct sunlight can burn their leaves, especially when it is hot, afternoon sun. Lower light will cause your plant's growth to slow. Allow soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Too much water can cause root rot, while not enough water may cause your plant to drop leaves.
