Gardener’s Notes:
Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost or sow directly outdoors after danger of frost has passed. Celosia prefers warm temperatures and full sun. Sow seeds on the soil surface and press lightly—do not cover, as light aids germination. Keep soil consistently moist until seedlings emerge. Transplant or thin plants to 10–12 inches apart in well-drained, fertile soil. Water regularly but avoid waterlogging. Pinch young plants to encourage branching and more blooms.
