Gardener’s Notes:
Sow seeds directly outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Morning glories prefer full sun and well-drained soil and perform best when not over-fertilized. For quicker germination, soak seeds in warm water for 12–24 hours or lightly nick the seed coat before planting. Sow seeds about ½ inch deep and space 6–8 inches apart near a support structure. Keep soil moist until seedlings are established. Once growing, vines require minimal care and will climb readily. Morning glories self-seed easily and return year after year in suitable climates.
