The blue star fern has bluish-grey fronds that are deeply lobed, and somewhat irregular in shape. When the plant is young, new groth fronds start out uneven in size and shape, but as the plant matures it develops larger, more consistent fronds with a uniform structure. This plant does well in bright indirect light, such as an east, or a west facing window. Soil should stay moist for this fern, but not wet. This fern is more tolerable of less humidity.
